Y6 to visit NUcastle for author event!

On Tuesday 9th June, a group of Year 6 pupils from Lemington Riverside Primary School will be taking part in a special Author Event hosted by Newcastle United Foundation as part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme.

The event forms part of our ongoing and expanding partnership with Newcastle United Foundation, which continues to provide our pupils with exciting opportunities to learn, develop new skills and broaden their experiences beyond the classroom.

During the day, pupils will participate in a range of literacy-based activities, including workshops led by acclaimed children's author Michaela Morgan. Michaela has written over 250 books for children and young people and is renowned for inspiring young readers and writers through her engaging and interactive sessions.

As part of the event, every pupil will receive a book linked to Michaela's workshop to take home, helping to encourage a lifelong love of reading and storytelling.
