Dear Parents and Carers,

At Lemington Riverside, we’ve been working with Newcastle City Council and the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust to help make journeys to and from school safer, easier and more enjoyable for our children.

Over the past couple of weeks, the children have been sharing their ideas about how the area around school could be improved. They’ve come up with some thoughtful and creative suggestions, and we’d now really value your views on these.

On Monday 30th March, members of the Walk Wheel Cycle team will be in the playground at pick-up time (from 3:00pm onwards). They’ll be there to chat with you, listen to your thoughts, and gather any additional ideas you may have.

Your feedback is an important part of this project. It will help us and the pupils shape the next stage, where children will turn their ideas into designs that reflect the needs of the whole school community.
