A Royal surprise at the Centre for Life!
A Royal Encounter at the Centre for Life! 👑
Today, our Year 4 and Year 6 pupils enjoyed an unforgettable day at the Centre for Life — made even more special by the presence of a very distinguished visitor!
The children were delighted to meet His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester, who was visiting the Centre to see the fantastic learning experiences taking place. He took the time to speak with our pupils and find out more about the exciting projects they were working on.
Our Year 6 class took part in an engaging STEM workshop, where they designed and built shelters capable of surviving the harsh conditions of Antarctica. They also had the chance to become young scientists, carrying out a series of fascinating laboratory experiments.
Meanwhile, Year 4 put their creativity and engineering skills to the test in the Making Studio, where they designed and constructed their very own vehicles.
It was a day full of discovery, innovation, and inspiration — and one we’re sure the children will never forget.
📸 Photos of our royal adventure will be shared soon — watch this space!
