Welcome to Lemington Riverside

Welcome to a primary school that dares to be different and celebrates its uniqueness…

We are Lemington Riverside Primary School – an inclusive, vibrant school at the heart of our community, overlooking the beautiful River Tyne. We welcome children from age 3 to 11 and are a one-form-entry school, meaning there is one class in each year group.

Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities, a sensory room and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

HALLOWEEN PARTIES 2025:
We're pleased to confirm that we will be hosting after school Halloween parties for the children again at Lemington Riverside this October - full details below.
These are really fun events and also a great fundraiser for our school to support us with providing ongoing trips, visits and experiences for our children at no cost to our families.
