Welcome to a primary school that dares to be different and celebrates its uniqueness…

We are Lemington Riverside Primary School – an inclusive, vibrant school at the heart of our community, overlooking the beautiful River Tyne. We welcome children from age 3 to 11 and are a one-form-entry school, meaning there is one class in each year group.

Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities, a sensory room and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

What’s Happening...

LEMINGTON HEROES:
Earlier this week we celebrated our Lemington Heroes for the end of the first half of the autumn term. There were so many nominations for so many fantastic reasons.
We also revealed that Mrs. Corr's Year 3 class were our attendance champions for Autumn term 1! A huge well done Year 3!

NEWCASTLE BLUE STAR COMPETITION WINNERS:
Congratulations to Hunter/Penelope and Jasim/Ayah who are the winners of the family tickets for the Newcastle Blue Star football match and firework display on Saturday 1 November - your tickets will be sent directly to the email you provided.
If you didn't win, tickets can be bought at a very reasonable price online via the following link. It's just £15 for a family ticket (2 adults/2 children) which gives you access to the full day (football match, entertainment, DJ, firework display). Additional tickets are £7 for adults, £4 for over 60's and £2.50 for children.

We break up for the half term holiday at the end of today (Thursday 23rd October). School re-opens for all children on Monday 3rd November.
We are excited to welcome Newcastle United Foundation to Lemington Riverside today who will be hosting a virtual dodgeball tournament in the main hall for Years 4, 5 and 6!
I'm really proud when I walk around our school and see the progress our children are making each day. .
I would like to say an enormous thank you to all parents/carers who continue to work alongside us to help us to provide the best learning experience we can for your child. It makes an enormously positive difference to your child when we work together.
Thank you also to our staff here who always work their socks off and go the extra mile for our children. Please know, that every time you pass them a compliment it absolutely makes their day and as their headteacher, I would like to thank those of you who take the time to do that.
