UPDATES FROM LEMINGTON RIVERSIDE

Dear Parents and Carers,

CHILDREN IN NEED/ANTI-BULLYING WEEK 2022:
This Friday 18th November, to mark 'Children in Need' as well as 'Anti-Bullying Week' children are invited to come to school with 'crazy hair' and wearing odd socks. Apart from crazy hair and odd socks, we ask that children wear normal school uniform please. Any voluntary donations on the day will go to the Children in Need charity. Thank you.

CHRISTMAS PLAY TICKETS:
Just to clarify from last week's newsletter, we will be initially allocating 2 tickets per child for one of their Christmas performances. This is because we have a fire safety capacity in the hall and want to guarantee that mams and dads all get a ticket first. We will have some additional tickets for each performance, these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis nearer to the times of the performances. Thanks for your understanding!

BASKETBALL:
We hope that everybody who secured free tickets for the Great Britain game had a superb evening! We continue to work hard to secure as many great opportunities for our families as we can!

REMEMBRANCE DAY - THANK YOU:
We raised a large amount of money for the Royal British Legion last week (exact amount to be confirmed) through the sale of poppy merchandise - thanks to everybody who contributed to a very worthy cause. As you will have seen if you follow our social media accounts, the children showed great respect in our 2 minutes of silence on Friday.

BE ON TIME EVERY DAY!
A reminder that if your child is in on time, every day in a week they received 5 Green Points every Friday (that convert into Lemington £ to be spent in the shop!) Classroom doors open at 8:45am every day and children must be in school for 9:00am. Please note, if your child arrives after 9:00am, you must sign them in on the electronic screen in the main reception. Thank you!

Best wishes,

Mr. Heeley
