Our Remote Learning Offer
From Tuesday 5th January 2021 our Remote Learning Offer was activated following the announcement that all schools in England would move to remote learning. Our remote learning offer will remain in place until Friday 5th March 2021. Face-to-face learning resumes for all children on Monday 8th March 2021. In the event that an individual child, group of children, whole class, or bubble have to self-isolate, remote learning will be re-activated.
Click on the PDF document below to read our Remote Learning Offer at Lemington Riverside Primary School. This details the educational provision that will be on offer to your child in the event that a family, bubble or the whole-school are required to self-isolate at any point.
Click on the document below to read our Remote Learning expectations and policy for each stage of the school (Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2) and the additional activities that are on offer for your child during any period of remote learning.
Led by our Head of Research, Innovation and Pedagogy, our remote learning curriculum has been designed using the latest academic research from the Education Endowment Fund (EEF). Click here to see the research that we have used in more detail.
For remote learning to be successful and manageable it needs to be a mix of Seesaw lessons, interactive discussions on Zoom, external resources (such as BBC Bitesize and Joe Wicks' daily exercise challenge). Click on the document below to view our weekly remote learning timetable.
Our Lemington Essentials are a series of challenges that you can complete with your children at home during periods of remote learning. They are designed to be fun and educational at the same time and develop essential life skills for our children. Start on Ladder 1 and see how far you can work through the challenges!
