Life saving equipment arrives at LRPS

10th May 2023
Many members of our community will be aware that for a number of years we have had a community defibrillator located in the main reception area of our school here at Lemington Riverside.

This important piece of life-saving equipment was donated to our school a number of years following the tragic death of 14 year old Michael Quinn who lived in Lemington. The community rallied together and led by ex Lemington Riverside pupil Bobbi Potts money was raised for a community defibrillator to be located at our school.

Michael's legacy still lives on at Lemington Riverside and that defibrillator still sits in our main reception. We hope, of course, that it never needs to be used, but it is reassuring to know of its presence.
Today, we are delighted to confirm that we have received delivery of a brand new defibrillator that will be located in our lower building here at Lemington Riverside.

We are pleased to continue to celebrate the legacy of Michael's life here at Lemington Riverside, and the wonderful community spirit and fund-raising that followed - something that we know is such a hallmark feature of our fantastic Lemington community.
