Catch up tuition - Spring Term 2 2022

It's been great to welcome back all of our children today following the half term holiday! 
 
We are pleased to confirm that after school catch-up tuition sessions will continue for all children in years Reception up to Year 6 this half term. Our catch-up sessions are proving very successful in giving our children an additional 1 hour per week of directed English and Maths teaching to allow them to catch up on some of the learning missed during the lockdown periods of the pandemic. 
 
Catch up sessions begin this week (week beginning 28th February 2022) and will take place every week up to and including the week beginning 28th March 2022. 
 
As in previous half terms, children who attend all sessions will be rewarded with a £10 Amazon voucher at the end of the half term. We will provide free snacks and juice at each tuition session. We hope as many children can attend as possible.
 
Catch up sessions take place on the following days:
 
  • Reception - Every Monday until 4:15pm with Miss Jeffcock (please collect your child from the Reception entrance).
  • Year 1 - Every Monday until 4:30pm with Mr. Carter (please collect your child from the main entrance on Sugley Street). 
  • Year 2 - Every Wednesday until 4:30pm with Ms Turner (please collect your child from the main entrance on Sugley Street). 
  • Year 3 - Every Monday until 4:30pm with Miss Brush (please collect your child from the main entrance on Sugley Street). 
  • Year 4 - Every Monday until 4:30pm with Mrs. Jamieson (please collect your child from the main entrance on Sugley Street). 
  • Year 5 - Every Wednesday until 4:30pm with Mr. Sayers (please collect your child from the main entrance on Sugley Street). 
  • Year 6 - Every Thursday until 4:30pm with Mr. Murphy (please collect your child from the main entrance on Sugley Street).
