END OF HALF TERM UPDATE

Dear Parents, Carers and the Lemington community,

I would like thank you for your support during what has been an extremely challenging, but ultimately successful first half term back following the months of lockdown. Your children have been superb and should be credited for how they have adapted to the changes.

REPORTING COVID-19 CASES OR SYMPTOMS:

You have all been brilliant at reporting any Covid-19 symptoms in your children or households to us this half term. Please continue to contact us on 0191 267 4315 or admin@lemingtonriverside.newcastle.sch.uk as soon as you can if:

-          Your child or any member of your household develops Covid-19 symptoms (high temperature, continuous cough, loss/change of taste/smell).

-          Your child or any member of your households tests positive for Covid-19.

It’s really important that you continue to report symptoms or positive test results to us during the half-term break too. You should email admin@lemingtonriverside.newcastle.sch.uk if your child or any member of your household develops the symptoms above or tests positive during the holidays. Thank you for your support with this!

SPOOKY THURSDAY!

We had a lot of fun on ‘Spooky Thursday’ yesterday! Huge credit to the fancy dress efforts – there were some amazing costumes! Our themed-days always go down a treat and there will be more to come during the school year!

REMEMBRANCE DAY 2020

We will be marking Remembrance Day in school on Wednesday 11th November. After half term we will have poppies and British Legion merchandise on sale. These include wrist bands, reflectors, rubbers, etc. Each item is priced at 50p each with all proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.

PARENT PAY

We will be launching ParentPay in the first week back after half term. This is a new online way to pay for school dinners, trips, clubs, etc. You will receive your own activation code in the first week back. We aim to be completely ‘cash-less’ at Lemington Riverside by 2021!
