An update from Mr. Heeley - 15th January 2021

15th January 2021
Good afternoon,

As we end the second week of remote learning for the majority of children, I would like to thank you for your continued efforts in supporting your children with their learning from home.

I would also like to say a huge thank you to the staff who continue to work hard setting work and marking it via Seesaw and Tapestry. Thanks must also go to our teaching assistants, family support worker, admin/finance staff, cleaners, kitchen staff and caretaker who continue to ensure the school operates smoothly and safely during these difficult times.

We have been busy delivering technology to those who need it within our community. We have a further delivery of laptops arriving next week - we secured this thanks to two very kind anonymous donations from members of the public who saw our recent appearance on ITV News.

We will continue to provide the weekly supermarket vouchers of £15 per child for those entitled to income-related free school meals. We will support ANY of our families who are struggling at the moment as we know many of our individual circumstances have changed in the past year. If you are struggling financially, with your mental or physical health or just need to talk something through - drop me a call on 0191 267 4315 or email HeadteacherLRPS@gmail.com

We don't see our school as JUST a place of education, but as the central hub of our Lemington community. We are here for you and your family.

Take care & stay safe,

Mr. Heeley
Head Teacher
