Welcome to Lemington Riverside
We are Lemington Riverside Primary School, a proudly inclusive school at the heart of our community. We educate children from the age of 3 up to 11.
Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

What’s Happening...
VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day, is celebrated on 8 May each year to mark the end of World War II in Europe in 1945. It was the day when Nazi Germany officially surrendered, bringing an end to nearly six years of fighting across the Europe. People across Britain and other Allied countries celebrated with street parties, music, and dancing.
We still have our school log books from back then here at school, on 7 May 1945, the headteacher recorded "Announcement of V.E. Day tomorrow, school will close for the Victory Holiday."
On Thursday 8 May we will mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day at Lemington Riverside with a day of themed activities in school to honour the bravery of those who served and to reflect on the importance of peace.
On this day, children are welcome to something in the colours of the Union Flag if they wish (blue, red or white) to mark the occasion. No donation is necessary.
