Welcome to Lemington Riverside

We are Lemington Riverside Primary School, a proudly inclusive school at the heart of our community. We educate children from the age of 3 up to 11.

Our school is a magnificent Edwardian building, with spacious classrooms, break out spaces, libraries, ICT facilities and an exciting outdoor environment. We also have a community hub on site, providing additional activities, services and support to our children, families and the wider community.

It's a busy final week of the term here at Lemington Riverside!
Today (Monday 19 May) our Year 5 children are heading to NUcastle for an exciting afternoon of computing and robotics activities!
Tomorrow (Tuesday 20 May) our Nursery and Reception children are off on a magical adventure on the Gruffalo Trail at Hamsterley Forest in County Durham!
On Wednesday 21 May we will be joined by an online safety expert who will be working with our children from Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on how they can help to keep themselves safe when online. This follows on from our recent parent/carer online safety workshop and in-depth online safety training for all of our staff.
We will also be sending supermarket vouchers to those children who are entitled to income-related free school meals this week via email/text message.
We break up for the half term holiday at the end of Friday 23 May and return to school for the second half of the summer term on Monday 2 June.

We can confirm that we have received funding to provide supermarket vouchers for those children entitled to income-related free school meals during the half term holiday.
Vouchers will be £15 per child and will be sent out via text message/email to those eligible during next week (week beginning 19 May 2025).
If your contact details have recently changed please ensure you let the office know before Friday 16 May.
